In this creative hands-on workshop, children will craft their very own miniature boats using colorful air-dry clay. Each boat will be fitted with a sail made from card, held upright by a recyclable paper straw. Kids will decorate their sails with vibrant coloring materials, gem stickers, or even write a personal message to carry along their boat’s journey.
This activity is a playful nod to Dubai’s rich maritime heritage and its deep connection to the sea. As children build and decorate their boats, the instructor will share simple, child-friendly stories about Dubai’s waters and traditional boats, sparking curiosity and pride in local culture.
Not only does this workshop encourage imagination and self-expression, but it also supports fine motor skills, storytelling, and a sense of individuality as each child personalizes their own creation.
